PrivateACCESS is a shared-workstation privacy solution that allows multiple users to maintain simultaneous open desktops behind a configurable privacy shield. Sessions are managed at the operating system level, not the application level, to maintain security. Each user’s session remains isolated and private from that of any other user, and individual drive mapping is enabled. Generic network logons are eliminated.

Lock and logoff timeouts (configurable by entity and machine) support patient data privacy regulations. PrivateACCESS’ privacy shield also protects users whose workstations may be accessed by others during off-hours from viewing unwanted material. Integration with HealthCast’s enterprise single sign-on solution, eXactACCESS, is seamless.

Easy to install and maintain, PrivateACCESS requires no server backend and can be remotely deployed or downloaded from a website. It can be seamlessly integrated with any biometric or authentication technology that uses a GINA replacement. It works with each organization’s existing Directory Service and requires no new database.
