Infologix Offers Wireless Mobile "HIPAA Carts" with HealthCast's Unique Desktop Session Manager for Multiple Users
Improves workflow of doctors and nurses while reducing risk of privacy breaches.
Philadelphia, PA and Boise, ID - (February 14, 2005) - Infologix Inc, a market leader in wireless computing solutions, and HealthCast Inc, a leading provider of enterprise single sign-on and session management solutions for hospitals, today announced a partnership in which Infologix will offer HealthCast's PrivateACCESS on all wireless mobile carts that are delivered to it's hospital customers. PrivateACCESS will securely manage multiple users' unique sessions on the Infologix "HIPAA Cart" so that clinicians no longer need to login and logoff the network each time they leave a workstation. With PrivateACCESS, users are returned quickly and securely to their open work at the point at which they left off.
The combined HealthCast and Infologix mobile wireless solution with session management will help to speed up and streamline clinician access to critical patient information on mobile carts while minimizing breaches to HIPAA patient privacy and security regulations.
