System Engineer
Primary role as System Engineer is to provide technical support to and
problem solving for eXactACCESS implementations for customers, remotely
and at the customer site. In addition, as requested, you would provide
sales engineering support to prospective customers, support RFP responses
and prospect pilots/proofs of concept, provide input into product management
decisions, and perform other related duties, as requested.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation
of eXactACCESS enterprise software at
customer sites and remotely, working with customer Network
and IT
personnel and HealthCast engineers.
- Perform On-Site Readiness Assessment with assigned Technical Project
Manager, help carry out required tasks in pre-implementation
check list at customers' site; and support any other Readiness
Assessment tasks
including environmental analyses, application analyses, and gathering
other required information.
- Assist in the development of project plans, architectural plans, and
Statements of Work for customers.
- Work with Technical Project Manager(s) and/or
Project Coordinator(s)
from HealthCast and assigned customers to perform assigned
responsibilities described in project plans and/or Statements
of
Work to deliver milestones on- time and
within budget.
- Install and configure eXactACCESS client and server software at
customer sites; coordinate installation of eXactACCESS
with
those 3rd party software and solutions that may be
part of the
overall solution (e.g., biometrics, proximity devices,
context
management software, provisioning software).
-Troubleshoot customer technical issues, communicate and
coordinate resolution with HealthCast Technical Project Manager(s)
and/or engineers. Follow issue through to resolution.
- Provide onsite training on how to install and configure eXactACCESS;
train those individuals who will train end users; train
administrators;
and assist in the development of custom training
materials
(e.g., end-user Quick Start Guides, manual install
documentation for necessary modes, etc.).
- Participate in project meetings (e.g., weekly meetings) and set up
ad hoc meetings between customer personnel and HealthCast
personnel on an as-needed basis; fill in as lead on client
meetings
that the Technical Project Manager or Project Coordinator
is unable
to attend.
- Become proficient in Wrapper testing, reporting issues, and
documenting resolution.
- Learn to write basic Wrappers and application links; increase
proficiency in Wrapper writing beyond Wizard and standard
Wrapper functionality, if agreed to as part
of individual growth
and development plan.
Technical Skills:
- 4+ years technical sales engineer or application engineering experience,
preferably in a hospital IT or software implementation environment
- Familiarity with Internet, network security, Identity Management,
network architectures, and network protocols, such as HTTP,
RTSP and TCP
- Extensive knowledge of Windows®, Terminal Services®, and Citrix® environments
- Demonstrated experience in project and program management tasks
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team-oriented, challenging
environment
- Professional, with good organizational, communication, and
problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively from home-based office, if home-based
office is appropriate
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average over the course of a year .

Preferred Qualifications:

Software Developers

Required Experience:
- 3+ years application programming experience throughout the entire
scope
of the software development process (requirements, design,
coding,
testing, etc)
- Working experience in any of the following programming languages:
C# (.NET), Delphi, C++, Visual Basic 6
- Experience with Enterprise Class Applications (client/server)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proven record of good judgment, and the ability to set priorities
to carry
out work assignments.
- Strong Interpersonal skills, interest in team building and must have
the
ability to listen to customers and colleagues.
Additional preferred skills:
- Thorough knowledge of COM/DCOM Development, Windows API,

Technical Project Manager
The Technical Project Manager role is responsible for planning, guiding
and executing the successful implementation of HealthCast solutions
with clients and partners as well as across HealthCast sales, marketing
and engineering resources. This is a hands-on position in which the
successful candidate will have daily client contact and be responsible
for guiding all aspects of client implementation process, including
project planning, analysis and requirements gathering, managing project
scope, design/build, secure authentication integration, testing and
deployment. The successful candidate for managing HealthCast projects
will comprehend and provide detailed project oversight across multiple
technical integration points with clients as well as understand and
manage internal technical project dependencies and functional areas.
Our project managers ensure that all implementations are successful
by meeting or exceeding both client and company expectations and are
within scope, timeframe and cost estimates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the sales & client teams to develop client specific solutions
& deployment strategies
- Coordinate and develop project kickoff prerequisites after understanding
project scope and client environment variables
- Develop preliminary project plan, delivery timeframes and functional
requirements
- Develop and deliver project scope (statement of work), deployment
strategy and project schedule
- Facilitate and actively manage both internal & external project resource
requirements
- Develop and manage project milestones & plan
- Facilitate weekly client status meetings and follow up
- Manage project test scripts and final acceptance testing for approval
of client release
- Work with technical teams and partners to implement the solution
as desired
- Assist or lead technical and end user training sessions (remote or
while on-site)
- Create specific project documentation or communications as required
- Pro-actively coordinate internal & external teams to ensure scheduled
delivery of all implementation tasks
- Report and escalate key deliverables and milestones.
- Major contributor to the on-going design and improvement of
implementation methodology

Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of successful lead project manager experience delivering
software solutions to clients, 3+ years with web-based
solutions
(preferably ASP model).
- Experience in environments where the project manager has complete
and total ownership over the success of projects.
- Ability to develop and manage multiple complex projects to successful
completion.
- Ability to communicate with and facilitate results across several
levels
within a client's organization
- Understanding of technical concepts like single sign on, encryption;
experience integrating multiple products and deploying a
single solution
for a client
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills
- Self-directed, independent and a meticulous attention to detail
- Experience leading large projects working with team members from
other countries and cultures
- Ability to talk on same level as developers and architects, and as
well
with non-technical and management personnel from all areas of
the company
- Experience leading process discussions and facilitating change,
including post-mortems and project checkpoints

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required. A technical degree and/or an MBA
will be preferred.
Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of account management and
technical skills. This candidate will be a great communicator, understanding
risk management, status reporting and all other elements of a successful
project manager, yet at the same time be able to work with internal
technical teams. Candidate will have a strong technical background,
preferably in an ASP environment.
Software Test/QA Specialist
This position will be responsible for technical testing; including functionality,
usability and interface testing of our software solutions. The QA tester
will work with an integrated team of developers and/or project manager
and implementation team to ensure that each product/upgrade of our product
is fully functional prior to implementation or release. The tester will
be responsible for issue tracking through generation of reports and
status meetings where the tester will identify any bugs or failures.
Responsibilites:
The QA tester will design and maintain test plans, create test scenarios
with the assistance of the project manager(s) or other manager or director.
The QA tester will be responsible for performing integration testing,
performance testing, functional testing, and user interface testing
using the plans, tools and test cases developed. Participation in design
reviews and product demonstrations is essential to performing these
duties. The QA tester will create testing templates to be used by other
testers. The candidate will create testing summary reports communicating
to the project team all testing results. Finally, the QA tester will
prioritize defects using an understanding of the business requirements.
- Contribute to the entire software development life cycle from project
initiation to deployment to production.
- Design and implement test scenarios and cases
(with focus on integration)
- Create and implement test plans.
- Perform technical testing including integration and performance testing
- Assist in implementation of QA standards and continual improvement
activities.
