Medworxx announces it has formed a North American distributor relationship with HealthCast to offer eXactACCESS to its current and prospective client base.

TORONTO, ON and Boise, ID, April 21, 2009 - Medworxx, the makers of a strategic software platform that hospitals use to communicate, aggregate, and analyze knowledge, announced their partnership with HealthCast, the developer of eXactACCESS, the most comprehensive single sign-on and clinical desktop workflow solution in the United States and Canada. Under the terms of the distributor agreement, Medworxx will offer eXactACCESS to its current and prospective client base which include some of the most prominent healthcare providers in North America.

eXactACCESS is a complete clinical desktop workflow solution that enhances how clinicians work at shared workstations. In addition to single sign-on and automated navigation inside applications, multiple users can run concurrent sessions on the same workstation so they can switch between sessions in seconds, and return to their work exactly where they left off. Users can also roam their active applications or desktop so they can immediately re-access their work as they left it at any workstation when they move from area to area. HealthCast's unique proximity badge functionality automatically logs-in and launches applications based on their user group, and then automatically navigates the user to specific page(s) to eliminate repetitive keystrokes. Using the same proximity badge will lock or logoff a user's session, or switch users, with the tap of the badge for more convenience and security.
